Balanced view

A recent study has shown that the average American knows more about basic science today than they did twenty years ago. The same study also shows that the hard sciences were not the only ones to gain more attention: there was also an "unsettling growth" in the belief in pseudoscience such as astrology and visits by extraterrestrial aliens.
